How do I clean up my sync check report?

If you are changing your iCluster configuration frequently, and removing replication groups or removing object specifiers from groups, you may notice that your sync check report is still reporting on groups or objects that are no longer replicating. How do you fix this so that sync checks only report on active groups? Well you could use the good old STRDFU command on the sync check metadata files, but there is a safer and easier way.

The PRGHASC command allows you to specify *OBSOLETE to get rid of obsolete sync check records, or *ALL to get rid of all sync check records. The command should be run on the backup node for the replication group.

Run this command to make sure your sync check reports sync up with your current iCluster configuration!
