As we continue to celebrate Rocket’s 25th anniversary year, we’re also celebrating all of the companies that have joined the Rocket portfolio over the years. Originally founded in 1979, Aldon was acquired four years ago, in March 2011, to help provide Rocket customers with an Application Lifecycle Management solution. Last month I received an email below from Sales Executive Mitch Hoffman, who joined Rocket as part of the Aldon team:
“I was speaking with a customer this week who told me about a giveaway from the early days of Aldon: a change purse. I though this was clever, as the Aldon products are for ‘change management.’ He even took a picture and sent it to me. I dug through my desk and also found two stuffed chameleons, again, a reference to ‘change management,’ the heart of the Rocket Aldon product line.”
Thanks to Mitch for the look into Aldon’s history. Do you have anything from Rocket’s history you’d like to share? Or maybe something from one of the brands that have joined Rocket over the years? Let us know in the comments.
