Rocket at 25: Howdy, partner!
Over the past 25 years, people have asked me, “How many of your partnerships are really win-win?” That’s a hard question to answer because at Rocket we believe in more than just “win-win.” For us, it is about “win-win-win.” A win for our customers means a win for our partners means a win for us. As a company, we put enormous energy into making our partnerships successful for everyone involved. This may seem idealistic, but that is who we are.
We believe in our partner network. We rely on partners on every continent. Our partners are industry experts in areas such as manufacturing, education, finance, and retail. Our partners are technology experts in areas like analytics, Cognos TM1, backup, archive, and data center migration. The breadth and diversity of our partner network is a great source of pride for us, and it’s something we have been building for over 25 years.
Regardless of geography, industry, platform, or technology, we put our customers and our partners first. Your agenda is our agenda. And a win for you is a win for us. Those are our core values. What further differentiates us is that our partners become a part of our Rocket family. If you were at our Rocket 25 event in London this week, you know exactly what I mean.
And many times it is the small things that matter–those small yet important details that make the difference. We try hard to create the time and space to share openly. From big events, like our recent London event, to those extra few minutes on a phone call–we do all of this to help create greater opportunities for our customers, our partners, and for Rocket.
When I kicked off our event this week, I said that Rocket wouldn’t be here today–we wouldn’t be celebrating our 25th anniversary this year–without you. Our thousands of partnerships around the globe make us who we are. I am proud of our successes, I enjoy our collaboration on behalf of our mutual customers, and I value your friendship.
