Join the Rocket team at IBM World of Watson 2016!
It may be hard to believe, but the first-ever IBM World of Watson event is just a few weeks away. We’re excited to be the Marquee Sponsor for this event once again, and the Rocket team has a lot going on in and around the Mandalay Bay while World of Watson is taking place. If you (or members of your team) are planning to attend, here are a few places you’ll find us:
On the Cognitive Concourse
We’ll be set up at booth #500. Stop by, say hello, and register to win a guitar that we’ll be giving away.
Party with The Rocket Band
CEO Andy Youniss and The Rocket Band will be playing an opening set at Tuesday night’s Rock the Mainframe party, taking place at the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay. You’ll need to get a “z” pin from the IBM team to get in, and doors open at 7:20 pm. This event is first-come, first-served, so don’t be late!
Check out a breakout session (or 14)
World of Watson isn’t just about having fun–it’s also about learning new things you can use when you get back to the office. On every day of the event, you have a chance to attend breakout sessions led by Rocketeers and IBM employees discussing Rocket solutions including data virtualization, collaborative BI, and DB2 tools. Come learn something new, and be sure to say hello.
