Be Legendary: Sutter Health
We work hard every day at Rocket to live up to our core values of empathy, humanity, trust, and love. When we see those values reflected in other companies from industries as diverse as financial services, healthcare, government, retail, and manufacturing, we want to celebrate them! Whether it’s through their work with nonprofits, an offering of local support, or an easing of contracts for their customers, we’re here to recognize the extraordinary ways in which companies are helping their communities.
Today, Rocket would like to highlight the Legendary Company, Sutter Health.
Headquartered in Sacramento, California, Sutter Health is a not-for-profit organization serving the Northern Californian patient population through its network of 24 acute care hospitals and over 200 clinics. It was established in 1921 as a response to the 1918 flu pandemic. Today, Sutter Health provides care for more than 3 million Californians and is meeting the challenges of another pandemic.
The organization recently extended its services by opening drive-in outpatient clinics in Brentwood and Antioch. The new clinics enable people across the Bay Area and surrounding regions to access medical care in a safe environment. The layout of the drive-thrus also protect health care workers and patients who are at high risk of contracting COVID-19. Through an initial phone consultation, primary care physicians will refer patients as needed to one of Sutter Health’s drive-ins. The only in-person contact patients will have is at the actual clinic, where a clinician will assess them.
These are extraordinary times, and by devising new ways to deliver care to communities that urgently need it, Sutter Health is responding to the challenges of the pandemic with innovative solutions.
Thank you, Sutter Health, for being a legendary partner to your community!
