Starting out as an MVS systems programmer in the mid 1980s, I quickly became interested in the public domain software arena and I designed and developed the "MXI" freeware tool in the 1990s. I moved into full-time software development in 2003 and am currently employed by Rocket Software as a Principal Architect in Mainframe Systems Tools. In 2019, I was honoured to be given the title “Distinguished Engineer”. Part of my responsibilities at Rocket is the architecture and development of SDSF.

Kurt Bohnert is Manager and Technical Lead for the DB2 for z/OS Systems Programming team at Rocket Software, Inc. He received his B.S. from Purdue University in May, 1981. He has worked in the field of Computer Science and Information Technology for thirty-six years, as a computer programmer, systems analyst, data base administrator, and systems programmer. He has worked closely with DB2 for z/OS (and its predecessors) since 1990. Mr. Bohnert is an IBM Certified Database Administrator and an IBM Certified Systems Programmer for Db2 for z/OS versions V9, V10, V11, and V12. He is a founding member of the DB2 for z/OS Tools team at Rocket Software, and has been with Rocket since April, 2000. He currently resides in Longwood, FL with his wife, Lori, and their Australian Shepherd, Ayanna.

P. Gary Gregory joined Rocket Software in 2012 and is President of the Database & Connectivity Business Unit. He graduated with one of the first computer science degrees awarded by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Gary spent 10 years as the Chief Computer Scientist at Computer Corporation of America, which developed the Model 204 database, and was later acquired by Rocket Software. He was a charter member of the ANSI X3H2 committee, which standardized database languages. Back then I worked with our hardware partners including DEC, Data General, Sequent, HP and many others! Later I moved to MarComm and Product Marketing. I love being back in MV and in my free time enjoy spending time with my family skiing, hiking and enjoying Colorado.

Christopher Wey joined Rocket Software in 2020 as the President of the Rocket business unit that develops IBM i solutions and cross-platform utilities. Chris brings two decades of experience leading product organizations, transforming companies through organic and inorganic growth, and driving business strategy. As an IBM customer for 14 years Paul worked in Application Development, Database Administration, and DBA. He joined IBM in 1999 as an Information Management Technical Specialist, teaming with the Sales force to present, design, install, demonstrate, and evaluate IBM Information Management solutions in a pre-sales environment; gaining multiple certifications in Database Administration, Data Replication, Blockchain, and Cloud Computing.
