Rocket MultiValue wins 2020 DBTA Readers’ Choice Award: Best MultiValue Database

Each year, awards are given by the readers of Database Trends and Applications magazine and DBTA.com. Rocket Software is proud to share news of this award. Rocket MultiValue (MV) helps thousands of organizations around the world solve critical business and technical issues, and we come to work every day to make our MultiValue products even better.

More than buzz words, Rocket provides modern features and options empowering our partners and customers to build on the value of their MultiValue applications. By value we’re talking about adding the modern features and experiences our users expect, including making MV applications easily accessible from any device. We also offer value to development teams who can use a variety of open source tools and languages to enhance their MV apps, helping with hiring and retaining development talent.

Julianna Cammarano, Rocket Software Director, Product Management, states “We have multiple labs around the world dedicated to enhancing the Rocket MultiValue Application Servers (MVAS) – Rocket® UniData®, Rocket® UniVerse and Rocket® D3® – as well as developing new tools to ensure greater levels of security and integration points while continuing to power mission critical applications with an ever-increasing variety of modern options.” She continues, “One example is our new Rocket MultiValue Integration Server (MVIS),built to operate both in the cloud and on-premises, for exposing MVAS data and business logic as RESTful services and enabling integration with modern web applications and services. MVIS enables our customers to elastically scale their deployments up and down to respond to application demands. We’re also working on open source solutions including MV BASIC for Visual Studio Code, a language-independent, cloud-friendly, browser-based IDE for accelerating and simplifying MV BASIC development. And we continue to focus on a full stack offering of Python; both client and server, as a native programming language.”

We’d like to thank our partners and customers for their continued support of our MV products. We are extremely grateful.

Hi, I'm the Product Marketing Manager for Rocket MultiValue. I returned to MultiValue in 2014. You see, I started my career right out of grad school with Unidata in downtown Denver. Back then I worked with our hardware partners including DEC, Data General, Sequent, HP and many others! Later I moved to MarComm and Product Marketing. I love being back in MV and in my free time enjoy spending time with my family skiing, hiking and enjoying Colorado.
